CHAIN, HOOKS & BINDERS
GRADE
100 HERC-ALLOY CHAIN
Grade 100 chain is specifically recommended for overhead
lifting and applications which demand a combination of minimum weights
and high working load limits. This chain elongates in excess of
15% minimum requirement.
GRADE 80/63 ALLOY HOOKS
Attach directly to the chain, no connecting links to buy.
They feature heat treated pins and an extra deep throat. Grab hooks
are compatible with Grade 100 alloy chain. Slip hooks are compatible
with Grade 63 alloy chain.
GRADE 70 TRANSPORT CHAIN
Load ratings for grade 70 chain average 20% higher than
grade 43 chain, so a smaller size chain can be used for many jobs.
Primarily for load binding in the transportation industry, it is
also used extensively on farms, in lumbering, towing and construction.
Yellow Dichromate carbon steel.
GRADE 70 TRANSPORT HOOKS
Designed specifically for Grade 70 Transport chains with
matching Working Load Limits. Higher strength-to-ratios due to a
more massive design.
GRADE 43 HIGH TEST CHAIN
A higher strength carbon steel provides an increased strength
to weight ratio plus resistance to wear and abrasion. Industrial
applications include lumbering, construction, binding and load securement
assemblies. Self-colored carbon steel.
GRADE 43 HOOKS
These hot forged, heat treated and tempered hooks attach
directly to welded chain with no connecting links to buy. They have
a clear protective finish to resist rust and for cleaner handling.
Made for use on all high test chain (grade 43) and proof coil (grade
30).
GRADE 30 PROOF COIL CHAIN
A general utility chain for farm, industry and home for
applications which do not require a high strength to weight ratio.
