Recently, Wallingford’s, on behalf of ICC, negotiated an agreement allowing for distribution of Premium Swaged Wire Rope® throughout the U.S. logging marketplace. This agreement allows Wallingford’s product development team full cooperation with engineers, resulting in our new Premium Swage Wire Rope product line.

Premium Swaged Wire Rope is a wire rope that has been compacted and compressed into a smaller diameter. By packing more steel into a smaller diameter, the swaging process produces a superior strength to diameter ratio and a breaking strength that is up to 23% higher than traditional rope.

Premium Swage Wire Rope offers you less porcupining and greater resistance to abrasive wear. Other attributes include easier mainline ring movement, increased safety, greater drum capacity and longer rope life, making it the best long term value for your money.
