SLIDE®
Our original winch line cable slide. Large winchline opening allows
for easy movement over the mainline. Saddle step design reduces
winchline kinking. Austempered for hardness. Used in tandem with
our Loggergrab® for quick disconnect chain chokers.
SLEEVE
TYPE HOLDRITE HOOKS
Esco's original Holdrite hook for faster choker setting and skidding.
Chokers are positively locked with Esco's exclusive "screwy"
rope slot, yet can be easily removed with a simple twist action.
Features a smaller sliding slot to hold against the end ferrule
or thrust on the winchline and gather ring type hooks. Full radius
of sleeve portion provides greater rope bearing to reduce winchline
kinks.
RING
TYPE HOLDRITE HOOKS
The most popular sliding winchline hook on today's
market. Esco's ring type hook offers the same design as our sleeve-type
except it has a larger winchline slot to slide easily over large
kinks in the winchline. The popular midget hook is also available
in a lightweight size which will handle all but the most heavy-duty
applications.
SWITCH
HOOKS
Similar to Esco ring-type hooks with an extra
large opening to slide easily along the winchline. The switch hook
features a different locking concept to add or remove chokers. Simply
insert the rope through the keyslot and pull the ferrule downward
into the pocket. A roll pin prevents loss of chokers. Accepts both
long and short ferrules.
